Strong and vibrant parishes are characterized by a sense of community within the parish and within the local area. Community Life members strive to ensure that there is a welcoming, communal spirit in our parish. The Commission establishes a schedule of social events for each year.
Audio/Visual Techs ~ help incorporate multi-media into parish events and liturgies.
Breakfast Sharing ~ one Sunday a month, in place of the regular “Coffee and Donuts,” parishioners are invited to bring homemade baked goods for sharing. Volunteers help set out these goods and ensure coffee is prepared.
Lenten Suppers ~ during Lent, members of each commission volunteer to prepare the light supper of soup, bread and fruit. The meal is held at 6:00 p.m. each Wednesday in the Parish Hall.
Parish Photographers ~ help record parish events.
Social Events ~ Events have included a Christmas Party, Parish Picnic, Pasta Fest, St. Patrick’s Day Party, and a supper on Holy Thursday.
Sunday Coffee and Donuts ~ volunteers, on a rotating schedule with other parishioners, host the Sunday “Coffee and Donuts” social between the Sunday morning Masses.
Webmasters ~ help maintain and develop parish website.
